Ghee Buttercream Frosting

Updated: Mar 23, 2020

This right here, folks, is my claim to fame.

My sugar free, dairy free, gut healthy buttercream frosting. And I'm sharing it with you. I mean, I don't want to use the words Christ Like, but I guess YOU can. (Jk, calm down, just making a funny)

Put it on cookies, cakes, muffins, or just eat directly from the bowl like the garbage human that you are. No judgment.

The key to this recipe is the consistency of the ghee. You want softened room temperature ghee. This consistency is crucial to turning that golden butter into white fluffy frosting. Lucky for you, most ghee is sold at solid room temp form. My go-to brand is Tin Star Foods.

Now, hang on to your nips because here's the best recipe I've ever created.

Makes about 18oz of frosting

Ingredients:

3/4 cup ghee

1/3 cup powdered monk fruit sweetener

1 tablespoon plant milk

Directions:

Using a hand mixer or KitchenAid, whip just the ghee in a bowl for around 8 minutes until it triples in size and turns white.

When it has reach maximum fluff and whipped-ness, add your remaining ingredients and mix for another minute.

Aaaaaaand that's all folks. Super easy recipe that will rock your boobs off and nourish your body.

You is welcome, my duuuuuuudes.
