Baked Onion Rangs
Yeah, I know how a spelled it. Get on board with my verbiage.
Now, who doesn't love onion rings? They're crispy, savory, and just all around awesome. BUT!!! Anywhere you go out to eat, they're prepped with highly processed flour and fried in canola oil which is pretty much one of the worst things for your gut.
These guys are gut friendly, tasty, and relatively quick to make.... but still kind of a pain in the ass. Worth it though.

Ingredients:
1 large onion
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup tapioca flour
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 large whisked egg
**Double the recipe if you want to eat a bigger batch or if, God forbid, you have to share with other people.
Directions:
Get two bowls
Fill one with your flours and spices, the other with the egg
Chop your onion into thick slices and separate all of the rings
Dip each individual ring into the egg until fully coated and then into the flour mixture before placing it on a greased baking pan.
Spray the onion rings with some Fourth and Heart Ghee Spray
Bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until the rings are gold and crispy
Eat right away. These guys lose their crisp after a few hours.
I'm not perfect. Just eat the whole damn batch. You're welcome.
